How do you pay for a lime bike? ›

Riders may pay through Lime's app using a credit card, debit card or Apple Pay. Or they may pay cash at a PayNearMe location. Some CVS, 7-Eleven or Family Dollar stores are participating in the program. To pay with cash, riders must first qualify for Lime Access, a needs-based program.

The cost of each Lime Access rental option is as follows: Lime-S and Lime-E: 50 cents to unlock, 7 cents per minute. LimeBike: 5 cents for every 30 minutes.

Lime's electric bikes and scooters typically cost $1 to unlock and 15 cents per minute to ride. Manual pedal bikes are always the most cost-effective option, at $1 per half hour of use.

In some you can park anywhere, in some riders have to use mandatory parking bays and in others there are parking bays but their use is only 'advisory.

Lime dockless bikes must be picked up and dropped off in designated parking bays which can be found on the app.
